Tired of unwanted hair? Waxing? Shave bumps? In-grown hairs? Try laser hair removal. De Luz Medical Aesthetics has the latest, most effective laser available today! The SPLENDOR X Laser by Lumenis provides the best results removing hair safely and effectively for all skin types.
Laser hair removal can treat hair anywhere on the face or body. Women often treat the bikini area, chin, upper lip, and legs. Men can safely eliminate unwanted hair from places such as their chest and back.
Following the consultation we will proceed with treatment. We will discuss your treatment desires and at that time you can specifically let us know what hair you want removed. While receiving laser hair removal, you will be required to wear protective eyewear. You may still be able to see a flash of light, but your eyes will be completely covered and protected. Mild discomfort sometimes can happen during the session it’s often described like the feeling of a rubber band snapping against your skin. While everyone’s pain tolerance is different, our treatment is more comfortable than others because our laser is equipped with a cooling device that makes the treatment tolerable. The Splendor X also has a large spot size which makes treatments quick so if there is any discomfort it is over before you know it. Please watch the video posted below for more information.
You can prepare for laser hair removal by not waxing, plucking, threading or using depilatory cream on hair in the treatment area for 4 to 6 weeks before your treatment; hair follicles must be present to be treated. You can still shave and, in fact, you’ll be asked to shave your treatment area the night before, or the day of your scheduled appointment and you should avoid sun tanning for a minimum of 2 weeks before your treatment.
